Our beeswax wraps are individually handmade using only 100% repurposed beeswax from our own bee hives.
Beeswax is known for its preserving quality so it is no surprise that food wrapped in beeswax food wraps stays fresher and lasts longer in the crisper.
Beeswax wraps are an environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative to clingfilm and single use plastic, that preserves freshness while allowing your food to breath.
We never add other oils or pine resin into our products simply because there is no need.
Less is better! In fact when other oils begin to break down this will in turn start to decompose the beeswax, which is why some beeswax wraps do not last very long.
Our beeswax wraps are 100% compostable and biodegradable. When your food wrap is ready for the bin, simply cut into small pieces and throw it into your compost bin or garden bed. Due to its high carbon content your beeswax wrap will quickly break down into organic waste.

Usage Guide: Place your beeswax wrap around a piece of food, bowl or dish and use the warmth of your hands to mould and seal in place. Before initial use, it is recommended to warm the wrap slightly by squeezing and rolling in your hands. This will give the wrap its pliable ability to mould into the shape you require. The more frequently your wrap is used, the more pliable it will become. Because we don't add other oils, our wraps are a bit stiff to start with, but hang in there, the more they are used the better they become. Not recommended for use with raw meat or fish.
Care Guide: After use, wash your beeswax wraps with cold or lukewarm water and mild dishwashing liquid, and hang to dry. Do not place in the dishwasher, oven or microwave. They can be folded into a smaller manageable size for storage. The lifetime of your beeswax wraps will depend on use and care.
